We slept in a crazy location and this picture seems to be the only way to really describe how random it was... Talk about a collaged image... Joe's disembodied head, the white plane beneath him... disembodied hand (mine) and a monkey... it's like a German Expressionist film. Okay, that doesn't actually mean anything...

Bean was in the garage and said: oh a bird. I looked up to the ceiling and hunched my shoulders prepared for a trapped and scared bird flying overhead... Nothing. I looked at Bean and she was pointing to the floor- at this leaf... in the shape of an abstract bird.

We spent the afternoon at Ruby's house hanging out, playing with modes of transportation and little plastic animals. Bean loves the resident large brown bunny.

Paint by numbers

Lindsay coordinated the most awesome craft today... a giant paint by numbers. It was delightfully fun to put together (harder than I thought!) and really strange and creative. All the things we love about working at an art studio.

I don't think this face is much happier... hmmm... attitude adjustment? According my grandparents, two fingers of Jack will take care of that frown.

Some days are just like this...

I just started laughing when I saw this sad face... Luckily it's an inanimate object and I couldn't hurt it's feelings. Sometimes this is how I feel during the winter- a little eye twitch, a set mouth. In the spring I feel so much better! I'll try to take a picture of spring feeling for tomorrow.

Took a couple of days off...

Bean is very interested in gardening... especially putting dirt all over the sidewalk.
